When does the call come? From whom do you think you are going to here it? How will you respond when you are called?

Most people when they hear some one say jump, they say how high? Us, we say ok. Yep we are those people. The people who are not afraid to just do it, as NIKE so aptly challenged us.

Our first adventure to Kuwait was a test of character but we jumped in with both feet. Perhaps to some it appeared foolish but the foolish things of the world are actually the wise doing what God has called them to. But I will say that as hard as our time in Kuwait and to think of it makes me cringe, I do know it was worth it and I would do it all over again just because it was God's will. But it has also brought us to the newest and most exciting adventure yet.

Craig and I have been living with his parents in the USA for almost 6 months now praying and seeking out what God has for us. It was such a struggle because we kept trying to move forward. Filling out job applications week after week, praying everyday for not only our needs but for what to do next. Nothing. Craig in the mean time was working with his dad polishing floors whenever he could and also editing video as much as possible to supplement income. Through this he had a project he was trying to finish for Military Community Youth Ministries or Club Beyond as it also known. They told Craig they need a DVD of some footage we had of a famous Baseball Player we had shot in Arizona.

So on December 28 Craig went over to the executive directors house to deliver it. Once there he was straight out asked by him if he would ever consider going to Bahrain to do ministry. Craig said something in Arabic that cause the director to say, "I'm actually being more serious than you realize." Craig's reply was, "Well if you knew what I said in Arabic you would know I was being more serious than you realize." He encouraged Craig to come home and discuss it with me and pray about it.

Craig came home and told me. My first though was WOW! Within in minutes we both knew it was the God's next call on our life and we could not believe how awesome it was. You see this ministry has people who are/going to be doing club beyond in Italy. However the general who handles those bases also oversees the one in Bahrain and told them that if they were going to have people in Italy then need to also put some one in Bahrain. But who would want to go? So few people we are finding would ever even consider going to the middle east to do ministry. But we did want to go and were super excited at the call!

But the best part for me is realizing that us choosing to go to Kuwait and just live there and experience the middle east is what has made not only us perfect to go to Bahrain, but also opened the doors for us to be all about Jesus to those who are almost what we would call an unreached group of people, the Teens of the American Military Families.

KCT

The past few weeks we have been taking a class to help us learn how to approach people about partnering with us. Kingdom Come Training is the name of the organization we are working with. They actually help people get fully funded in less than a year. It has been a fantastic class and our teacher Jerry has been amazing. We have definitely learned great skills and really been able to tell our story of what we are doing. We also were asked to consider joining the KCT team as teachers and coaches part time. It was a real honor and we actually love what KCT is teaching and it goes right along with what God has been teaching Craig and I. So if MCYM does not see any conflict with what we will be doing in Bahrain we will probably do it. So amazing to think that God was preparing for us for this even before we started into it. We actually will be hearing from out coach very soon. This coming week will be our last week for teaching but it looks like Jerry and his wife will be the one's coaching us if we do decide to join KCT. Craziness once again in our lives but we just amazed at what God is doing in our lives!
